Sr Accountant - Accounting

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience:

Seven to ten (7 – 10) years relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting departments, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare financial management experience is highly preferred. Strong supervision and prior management skills are required. Must have a broad understanding of healthcare financial reporting. Ability to manage lead and staff level personnel. Ability to provide financial data for analytical evaluation of business operations. Knowledge of PC applications including advance excel skills is required. Must be organized and able to meet ongoing as well as special time deadlines and work under pressure. Advanced Excel and Access experience is preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to compose financial reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and executive directors.
