Educational requirements and/or preferences:
- Graduate of an Accredited Social Work Master’s Program
- Two or more years of hospital social work experience or healthcare related experience
- Experience in psychosocial assessments, interventions, and crisis counseling
- Possesses excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills in interactions with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
- Must be self-directed, and have the ability to tolerate frequent interruptions and a demanding workload.
- Performs duties in a manner to promote quality patient care and customer services/ satisfaction, while promoting safety, cost efficiency, and a commitment to the continuous quality improvement process.
