Educational Requirements:
BSN preferred, Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
Experience:
BSN preferred, Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred. Current CA RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS. Specialty certification preferred.
Experience:
IV therapy and at least 3 years acute RN Telemetry experience. Specialty certification preferred, Five (5) years or more recent acute care RN experience to include 3yrs Telemetry or ICU/PCU RN experience, Experience with computerized documentation systems is a must! Experience with acting in charge nurse role required.
Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)
The physical ability and perceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Must be able to access files and supplies located at floor level up to maximum of 6 feet. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs. Weill work in highly visible, very active environment. Must be able to stand, lift, walk
