Educational Requirements:
• Completion of an educational program in radiation therapy technology accredited by the Joint Review Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of record and verify computer programs
• Knowledge of treatment and imaging systems
• Expertise in all of the various forms of treatment procedure
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology License
• BLS certification required
Experience:
• 0-3 years related experience, depending on training.
Physical Demands:
• Normal physical requirements for routine administrative responsibilities carried out at a desk.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift patients (with assistance) to and from treatment tables, stand sit or walk for extended periods of time
