Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Social Work required.
• Valid Clinician Social Work license, Psychiatric Mental Health Certification and any other competencies required by your unit within the first year.
• Two or more years of hospital social work experience or healthcare related experience, preferably in Psychiatric or ED setting preferred.

Skills Sought:

• Experience in psychosocial assessments, interventions, and crisis counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills in interactions with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Self-directed and tolerates frequent interruptions and a demanding workload.
• Experience providing quality patient care and customer satisfaction, in a safety and cost efficient manner with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
