QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       Requires current California Registered Polysomnographic Technologist license and RPSGT credential issued by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists;

2.       Experience in PSG and home sleep study scoring;

3.       Effective written and verbal communication skills;

4.       Excellent computer skills;

5.       Strong organizational skills;

6.       Self-motivated;

7.       Team player

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
