- Minimum 2 years
experience healthcare, ambulatory or outpatient setting or physician’s
office required
- Understanding basic
medical terminology is key
- Ability to type 60+
WPM
- Ability to edit
material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar
- Attention to detail is
a must
- Experience
demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to prioritize
workload and demonstrate initiative
- Excellent
interpersonal skills required
- Bilingual preferred
Physical demands:
- Employee must be
able to sit in front of a computer approximately 90% of their scheduled day to
perform clerical and administrative functions
- Be comfortable
with walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
