Experience:
1 year of previous experience as a Patient Transporter
Experience in a health care environment preferred.
Appropriate interpersonal skills for interacting with peers, patients, physicians and other customers of the Medical Center.
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or its equivalent
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
Current BLS for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association.
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting and standing; occasional walking and bending; occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds.
Responsiveness to auditory alarms and communication devices including: telephones, beepers, and all alarms.
Visual acuity acceptable for performing duties of this position.
Sufficient mobility to access equipment, patients, and other customers.
