Educational Requirements: 
2 years college with courses in business accounting, computer operation and applications preferred. High school diploma with courses in Business, Accounting, Computer Operation & Applications, and Correspondence. 

License/Certification/Registration Requirements: 
None required 

Experience: 
1. 2 to 3 three years progressively responsible office and administrative experience, such-experience demonstrating ability to independently establish administrative-and/or workflow and process procedures; ability to identify problems and resourcefulness to resolve them independently and on own initiative 
2. Demonstrated leadership ability to initiate intradepartmental workflow, processes and reports and achieve orderly, accurate and timely work. 3. Preferred healthcare experience and/or experience in a large multi-faceted organization. Said experience preferably in HR or other similar core/central organizational function. 
4. Ability to type proficiently (50-60 WPM). Ability to edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling and grammar. 
5. Demonstrated ability to compose simple business letters, memos, and documents. 
6. Background in HR/Leave of Absence Administration/Risk Management with knowledge of CA rules Strong written and oral communication skills. 
7. Exemplary organization skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks — frequently with short timelines, to prioritize and organize work and to complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner. Must meet deadlines. 
8. Excellent customer service skills including the ability to interact effectively with all individuals at all levels of a large complex organization. 
9. Willingness and ability to work in a team-oriented service environment. 
10. Includes willingness to work additional hours and/or weekends if needed. 
11. Ability to interact effectively with Directors, Managers, internal staff, vendors and representatives of public agencies or businesses. 
12. Unquestioned integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. 
13. Experience with internet based software system (Leave Administration-software- preferred), with familiarity of basic internet navigation and process. 
14. Knowledge and ability to competently use Microsoft Office products, with a strong emphasis in data management in Microsoft excel, including but not limited to creation, reporting, analysis, development and presentation of data.
