Financial Specialist III - Physician Billing
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma
- Four (4) years’ work experience in the medical field, preferably in Physician Billing
- Three (3) years in Customer Service
- Proficiency in EPIC medical billing system
- Knowledge of third party reimbursement regulations and billing
practices
- Service oriented attitude – willingness to provide quality
assistance to patients and diffuse irate callers when necessary
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify/resolve
problems, document the outcome and follow-up, if necessary
- Conduct self in an ethical, honest, and professional manner
- Understanding of Windows based applications i(.e. Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong Communication and Writing Skills

Successfully complete training on required
modules within the EPIC system

Work independently with little or no
supervision, if necessary
