Job Responsibilities:
1. Directs the daily operations of the CS-Link Application Systems Department and is responsible for the human resource activities, budgeting and overall departmental management and supervision. Establishes departmental goals and objectives and reports accomplishments and plans on a regular basis.
2. Provides and articulates resource requirements (financial, technical, and human resource), risk analysis and impact of requested information system projects for the Financial and administrative Systems Department.
3. Proactively resolves issues encountered during and post system implementation working with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the institution.
4. Evaluates new technologies/software/vendors that may provide opportunities for solutions or new applications necessary to accomplish institutional goals, objectives, and strategies to the CS-Link Application Systems Department.
5. Coaches, mentors and leads CS-Link Application Systems Department staff to continuously improve technical capabilities and develop and implementation processes and builds a strong team.
6. Works jointly with user project managers and other information systems groups to successfully implement projects.
7. Communicates with the user community on CS-Link Application Systems projects, especially in relation to their goals, status and expected outcomes, as well as overall information systems vision and strategies.
8. Assumes fiscal responsibility including overall budget performance for the acquisition, development, installation, implementation and maintenance of CS-Link Application System projects.
9. Establishes strategic and tactical input regarding CS-Link Clinical System strategies in support of IT clinical strategies and priorities.
10. Develops and maintains effective relationships and communications with the VP and ACIO, other IT leaders and staff.
11. Develops and maintains effective relationships and communications with executives, department heads and other key customers in departmental supported areas.
12. Develops long and short-range plans according to the overall IT strategic plan for modifications, evaluation, testing and maintenance of the CS-Link Application Systems.
13. Help define, change and manage the position duties and responsibilities as it changes and morphs.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible management experience, preferably in a large medical center environment, with a focus on revenue cycle and related systems.
• Extensive experience working with senior and middle management.
• Experience in project management and change management.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present complex systems technology issues in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
• Communicating with and influencing diverse audiences, including C-level, strategic partners, internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytic, problem solving, and business process development skills.
• Demonstrated track record of selecting, developing, and retaining top performers.
• Strong collaborative skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups to translate business strategies, initiatives, goals and objectives into project proposals.
Educational Requirements:
Epic Certification in one or more core modules required.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required; Master’s or higher degree preferred.
