Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian or Registered Diet Technician preferred but not required.
Desired Experience:
- At least two years of relevant work experience, prior functional work experience is helpful.
- Forward-thinking database development experience required.
- Deep understanding of PC applications, particularly relational databases and spreadsheets, required.
- Knowledge of application programs used in the department (i.e., SAS, SPSS, MS Access, etc.)
- You have an understanding of relationship (and sometimes object-oriented) technologies for database design.
- Validated ability to abstract data from database software into reports and spreadsheet formats.
- Good understanding of data flow, structure, and relationships of various pieces of data.
- Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and analytical skills.
- Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
- You have a demonstrated ability to work in a team. With the ability to work in a changing environment and handle multiple tasks.
Physical Demands:
- Able to perform moderate lifting.
- Able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to read papers and online documents.
- Able to operate standard office equipment.
- Able to exercise physical ability and perspective acuity to satisfactorily perform essential job functions.
