Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
License/Certifications:
- California Guard Card and California Driver License required.
Experience:
- Prior Dispatcher and/or Command Center operations experience preferred.
- Must have typing skills and working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Exchange.
- Must be able to prepare computer based reports and logs.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel, general public and patients in a professional and effective manner.
Physical Demands:
- Constant use of both hands, arms and fingers in typing/reaching/handling/grasping while using radio, phone, computer, notepad, writing reports and other administrative tasks. Constant use of eyes (correctible vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with people and view security monitors. Climb stairs or ramps occasionally during shift. Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties, including lift or carry up to 40 lbs.
