Minimum Job Requirements/Competencies:
• Baccalaureate degree. Graduate degree, MBA, MS in accounting, finance or business administration or a comparable level of education or experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, analytical abilities and communication skills.
• Demonstrated personnel management and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis preferable in a health care academic and research environment.
• Extensive knowledge and use of personal computers, computerized spreadsheet programs, such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint and financial modeling.
• Knowledge and understanding of the trends and forces shaping the healthcare delivery system, the provision of care and other emerging issues in healthcare management.
• Demonstrated flexibility and initiative to effectively effect change efforts to respond to environmental or organizational changes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of constituencies.
